Prevention and education are major components of our outpatient programs. Those in our outpatient programs learn the negative consequences of addiction and substance use.
The programs also teach the importance of resisting substance use and strategies to help consumers continue to live successfully without the use of substances.
Intensive outpatient programs have a number of advantages for those who do not require detox, medical supervision, or around-the-clock care. Although, the program provides in-depth treatment it is on a part-time basis. This gives consumers the opportunity to get treatment without disrupting their home lives.
Intensive outpatient therapy can be particularly valuable for someone who already has positive connections in the community but is seeing slow progress with the traditional outpatient approach.
