Substance Abuse
Substance Abuse Treatment Services in an outpatient setting provides screening and assessment services, individual, family, group counseling and activities. Outreach, aftercare, as well as appropriate referral to other agencies or groups, are integral functions of the program.
A special component of the program is Prevention. It is designed to educate youth and adults to recognize the dangers associated with abusive or addictive use. the program also emphasizes the importance of abstaining from the use of chemical substances.
Intensive Outpatient Services for people with addictions includes intensive (IOP) treatment services, screening individual or group counseling and activity therapy to adults with substance abuse problems.
ARTS House (Substance Abuse Halfway House) assists residents through provision of a sober environment. Recovery services include educational meetings and goal setting sessions.
SMARTS Unit is a residential substance abuse program, offering treatment for chemical dependency.
Project Safe provides a specialized substance abuse treatment for parents referred by the Department of Children and Family Services.
